David's very first session was of yours truly. Nothing too fancy, just some casual shots with a beautiful outdoor background.

As our "photo shoot" went on, I felt more comfortable in front of the camera. Modeling is not one of my talents, and I wasn't always quite sure how to pose.

This one is my favorite, and ironically, it was totally spontaneous. I found this bright yellow leaf on the ground, which caught my eye since it isn't quite time for fall, and I decided to include it in the photo shoot.

I think spontaneous and natural pictures are so much more fun.

I also wanted a few pictures with these puppies because a) they are adorable, and b) they are growing like crazy, so I wanted David to document them while they are still little. This is Lily.

And Sadie.

And by some miracle we got them to be relatively still for a few seconds to get some pictures.

So, that was C&C's first session. We both learned a lot, and have a lot more to learn!
